1. Introduction

Fishawk ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application published on the Apple App Store by developer NingboYuYao (operating entity: Ningbo Globfishing Technologies Inc.). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the Fishawk iOS application (the "App") and our services.

By using Fishawk on iOS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

• Email address — used for account creation, login, and service notifications.
• Username — your display name within the App.
• User ID — a unique identifier assigned by our system to manage your account and data.
• Password — stored in encrypted (hashed) form; we never store plain-text passwords.

2.2 Usage & Device Data

• Device type, operating system version, app version, locale
• Feature usage statistics (e.g., which sea-condition layers you view)
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics (collected via our server-side logging or authorized third-party crash SDK, no personal identifiers beyond device model)
• Approximate location (city/region level) derived from system location services or manually selected, used to provide relevant sea condition and weather forecasts
• IP address (transiently, for security and rate-limiting)

2.3 Saved Fishing Data

Fishawk allows you to save fishing-related records for your personal reference:

• Fishing ground coordinates and location markers
• Fish species and catch notes (all entered by you as text)
• Timestamps and optional text annotations

All saved fishing data is stored on our secure servers and associated with your user account. You can delete individual records or your entire account at any time.

2.4 Purchase Information (Apple In-App Purchase)

If you purchase a VIP membership (e.g. vip_oneMonth) for premium features (Fishing Ground Forecast, underwater sea-condition data), the transaction is processed by Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). We do not collect or store your payment card details. Apple shares limited transaction information with us — such as the transaction identifier, original transaction identifier, purchase date, product ID, and subscription status — solely for the purpose of activating, restoring, and managing your membership and preventing duplicate fulfillment.

4. iOS App Permissions Explained

Permission	Purpose	When Used
Network Access (Internet)	Fetch sea condition data, weather, sync saved records.	While the app is in use.
Location (approximate)	Provide regional sea and weather forecasts.	When you view forecast data or set your fishing area.

5. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to payment data.
• Ocean & Weather Data Providers: Third-party meteorological/oceanographic APIs. Only location queries (city/coordinate level) are sent; they do not receive your account information.
• Crash Reporting: If enabled, a crash-reporting SDK (e.g. PLCrashReporter or similar) collects anonymous device model and stack trace. No personal data is attached.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with HTTPS/TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Apple purchase tokens are stored only as long as needed to validate your VIP status.

7. Children's Privacy

Fishawk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents may contact service@aispatial.com to delete such data.

8. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You may view, correct, or delete your data. To permanently delete your account and all associated data:

Or email service@aispatial.com with subject "Fishawk account deletion request". We process within 7 business days; data removed from active systems within 30 days.

9. International Data Transfers

Fishawk is operated by NingboYuYao / Ningbo Globfishing Technologies Inc. Your data may be processed in China where our servers are located. If you use the App from the EU/EEA, you consent to such transfer; we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and revise the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
